The Examination Board of the Institute decides on admission to doctoral studies and habilitation in sociology.
Cumulative dissertation
Instead of a monograph, you can submit a cumulative dissertation consisting of several journal articles. The requirements are set out in the implementing rules for cumulative dissertations in sociology (2022, see below, in German).
