Before I started studying political science and sociology in October 2021, I successfully completed an apprenticeship as an administrative assistant in an independent town. In the summer of 2022, I was able to gain initial experience in the work of the social sciences as a student assistant at the Zentrum für Sozialforschung e.V. of the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg before I started working here at the institute. The insights into practice combined with my interests in social issues strengthened my decision to take up this study.
