Isabel Müller is a sociologist and currently a research associate at the Halle Centre for Social Research e.V. at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. Her research focuses on social innovations, especially with regard to socio-spatial and demographic change as well as the emergence and development of social innovations in rural areas. A further research interest is the shaping of social, ecological and economic sustainability by regional actors.

That is why I am interested in social cohesion

I am fundamentally concerned with the question of how social cohesion can be developed. What is social cohesion today, how does it manifest itself and what factors is it subject to? In particular, I am interested in the development of social cohesion in a regional context, especially at the district and community level, as well as the connection with socio-cultural factors.
