Why I am interested in social cohesion

I am particularly interested in the research topic of social cohesion regarding in particular the aspect of equal opportunities. From an economic point of view, my interest focusses on how career advancement opportunities differ regionally and how they have changed in the past few years. From a sociopolitical point of view, I also research the consequences that an increasing spatial division into well and poorly paid jobs would have for cohabitation and how this can be prevented.
