Prof. Dr. Jörg Dinkelaker researches the dynamics and formats of learning outside educational institutions, with a particular focus on situations and practices of translation between different social worlds. Another key area of his work is learning in and through the climate crisis.

What interests me about social cohesion?

Cohesion requires communication across the boundaries of different social groups. What challenges arise in this process, and how can they be addressed? How can young people be involved, and what contributions can they make? (How) can mutual understanding be achieved even in the face of global crises?
